Welcome to my creative journey. Art is such a beautiful thing, and each person has a slightly different perspective even on the same piece. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. If I had to sum up my artistic mantra, it would be “Beauty Matters.”

I've been drawing and working with various types of art media my whole life. After some years of undergraduate study, I went to the Art Institute of Seattle, where I honed my skills.  I furthered my artistic exploration through private masterclasses, delving deep into Renaissance art techniques. This foundation allows me to create captivating artwork that transcends mere representation.

My paintings have been exhibited in multiple solo exhibitions in the Seattle area and countless juried group shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.  Additionally, my art finds homes with collectors around the world, a testament to its universal appeal. Currently my work is hanging in several locations on the Eastside of Seattle and The House of Orange in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

With this blog, my intent is to showcase the creative process as my works evolve. From inspiration, drawings, underpaintings, and the progression toward the finished painting. At times, I will explore the tools necessary for a finished painting. These include the types of brushes, paint, to the canvas which work best. There are many things to know that you won't learn in art school. The attached is a work in progress: Black Morph Mischief……..
